Shot this DIY collective of activists and do gooders for a story in the Dallas Observer. Find out more about them there. In the photograph, amongst others is my quasi big brother and friend of 15 years, Kendall Counts, his girlfriend Satori and his son Baileon. It is amazing what happens in the lives of individuals when their focus becomes centered around the greater good and what they can do for others. I continue to see this growth and beauty in his life and i know it goes hand in hand with what he does for others. We cant keep what we have unless we give it away.
